There are myriad apps available for mobile devices and, more specifically, the iPhone. Following are a few that law enforcement officers have found particularly helpful.

HanDBase for iPhone and iPad
This is a great app to upload database information like a statue book, leads, criminal profiles, etc.

iMovie
A great app to make video from an iPhone 4, whether it’s for leads, suspects or recording a crime scene or traffic accident scene for alter recall.

90-in-1 Appzilla
It features 90 different tools: converters, rulers, currency exchange information, dictionary, thesaurus, flashlight and many more.

Pocket First Aid and CPR from The American Heart Association
An excellent app to help with first aid and CPR.

iPharmacy The Drug and Medication Guide 
A fantastic app to help identify drugs, pills, etc.

Evernote 
This app records text, photo and audio notes that can be synced with your computer and iPad.

Motion GPX Drive 
A reasonable GPS app solution.

Navigon Mobile Navigator North America
The best GPS app for the iPhone.

The Weather Channel 
An excellent weather app.

JotNot Scanner Pro 
Allows you to quickly scan documents with the iPhone to email or MMS to anyone.
