The DVM-100

Digital Ally’s new DVM-100 is an in-car video system designed specifically for law enforcement agencies that need a high-quality system, but are budget-constrained. This cost-efficient system is incorporated into a cruiser’s rear-view mirror in order to document important criminal evidence. Although the DVM-100 doesn’t have all the features of the DVM-750 and DVM-500 Plus, it’s easy to operate and offers high-quality video at 30 frames per second. It also includes pre-event recording, an optional covert mode, a remote wireless microphone and an integrated microphone for recording inside the vehicle, a removable SD card and back office software. The Coban Edge

The rugged Coban Edge in-car video system features a solid-state design that protects it from tough environments, such as shock and vibration. The Edge has an event-based video recording function, as well as a fail-safe function that constantly records video (not audio, unless microphone is activated) in the background. The unlimited pre-event feature allows officers to extend pre-event time on the fly so that no important moment is missed. The Edge also includes a Smart Power Module that protects your vehicle battery as well as the system, and a built-in video-streaming function with no additional hardware cost. System comes standard with a three-year warranty. Coban Technologies

The G3 Vision

The product has an intuitive user interface and records video on four cameras simultaneously so that critical evidence is captured. It captures an incident with up to three minutes of pre-event recording on two cameras. Using a 2.4-Ghz digital wireless mic with an operating range of 2,500 ft., up to three audio sources can be recorded. Video files can be transferred manually, wired or wirelessly to the office database. Kustom Signals

In-Car Video Mic

WatchGuard Video’s new high-fidelity digital wireless microphone is designed for police in-car video systems. The product works with both the DV-1 standalone system and the 4RE HD wireless camera system. It’s the first law enforcement wireless microphone designed around a high-power industrial radio modem with a fractal antenna instead of cordless telephone technology. This new technology provides range of 1–2 miles and features near-CD audio quality. The microphone uses the same lithium polymer rechargeable battery used in the iPod classic, so replacement batteries are available at many retailers. WatchGuard Video
