Conference for the Techies

IACP Law Enforcement Information Management Conference caters to managers, supervisors and information technology folks

Dale Stockton | From the March 2011 Issue Tuesday, March 22, 2011

If you have, need or want technology to get your job done, you’ll definitely benefit from the upcoming International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Conference. LEIM is tech-centric and caters to managers, supervisors and information technology people who want the latest tech info and a chance to interact with their public safety peers. There are also awards presented to agencies who have used technology in new and innovative ways, providing case studies for agencies wanting to address similar challenges.

This year, the conference will be held in San Diego—my hometown—and the conference organizers have negotiated a fantastic rate at the host hotel, the beautiful Hilton Bayfront. Consider bringing family. After all, San Diego in June is about as good as it gets.
