Automatic Vehicle Location

Data911’s new Web AVL provides cloud computing for automatic vehicle location. With no server to maintain and no desktop software to install or upgrade, the Web AVL can be accessed from any computer in your facility or fleet with Internet access. The product is also easy to install, depending on your tracking equipment and network. The Web AVL integrates Google Maps so that you can track vehicles outside jurisdiction boundaries with satellite imagery, real-time traffic conditions, terrain maps and street view images. Its infrastructure is firewall protected to prohibit network access from facilities other than government or emergency response, but it can accept real-time GPS data from vehicles. Data911 provides a free Integration API to agencies that want to integrate CAD or another system with Web AVL. Data 911, 510/865-9100, www.data911.com
