Portable UV Lamps
Weighing 11 oz., the Spectroline MiniMAX Series of ultraviolet lamps is extremely lightweight and compact, and can be carried easily for on site or field inspections. The distinctive shadow-box design blocks room light so stains and material samples glow brighter. Powered by four 1.5-V AA alkaline batteries (not included), each lamp comes with an AC adapter, a nylon carrying strap and a convenient travel pouch. The MiniMAX Series includes the UV-5A (which emits long-wave UV), the UV-5F (which emits short-wave UV) and the UV-5NF (which emits both long-wave and short-wave UV). All three models combine miniature size with maximum UV intensity.

The Replacements
Whelen’s PAR-46 Super-LED Replacement Spotlights, designed especially for the Unity Spotlight, are drop-in replacements for outdated halogen lamps. Lightweight, low-current and water-resistant, they provide stable light output for 50,000 hours. They install in minutes and feature a reverse-polarity-protected, replaceable, hard-coated, polycarbonate lens that provides increased durability and longevity; a heavy-duty, black-powder-coated, die-cast aluminum heatsink; and an industry-standard, brass, slotted-head connection point. The unit weighs 1 lb. and is SAE J1113-42 Class 5 EMI certified. It emits zero EMI. A ventilation system eliminates the infiltration of moisture by providing a constant internal atmosphere.
