Tablet Transformer

GammaTech’s new fully rugged convertible computer, the Durabook R13C, is an upgraded version of model R13S. This 13.3" computer passes military standard 810G certification for drop, shock and spill protection, in addition to explosive atmosphere, salt, fog and freeze/thaw standards. Field-Deployable Tablet

General Dynamics’s new rugged Duo-Touch II is lightweight and compact. It features DynaVue touch screen display technology so that officers can see in all lighting environments, including direct sunlight. The active digitizer allows officers to accurately capture signatures, add notes or navigate through applications with just a touch. The Intel Core Duo processor is optimized for multitasking, giving field-deployed, mission-critical officers the ability to stay productive.

Patrol MDC

RoboVu’s RoboCUBE is the next generation of the Robo III computer. Compared to the Robo III, the RoboCUBE design is thinner and lighter for better operation in the field. The RoboCUBE’s ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness from 0–1,200 nits, depending on the environment. It also comes standard with RoboDASH software that has programmable buttons for any application, built-in power management, programmable keyboard hot keys for quick launches and programmable administrative functions.

Modular MDC

Data911’s new M7 in-dash computer system is a three-piece modular design that allows for easy installation and a variety of mounting options. The rugged system is built with an LED-illuminated touch screen that’s readable in direct sunlight. The M7 is backward-compatible with all generations of the M-series mobile computers. Dynamic Duo

Panasonic’s new Toughpad line includes the 10" A1 and the 7" B1 (available Fall 2012) Android-powered tablets. The Toughpads have security embedded at the hardware level and can be managed with a custom set of low-level controls for successful field deployment. The A1 has a high-brightness, 10.1" XGA multi-touch screen that allows officers to see critical data and operate the device regardless of light conditions. It also includes a stylus and an active digitizer for flexible data entry in the field, signature capture and a handwriting recognition feature. The Toughpad A1 offers optional 3G/4G mobile broadband, as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and satellite GPS.
