Germany's GSG-9 special forces unit won the 2006 Original SWAT World Challenge (OSWC) held March 26 27 in Little Rock (Ark.). San Antonio (Texas) SWAT took second place, and Lexington (Ky.) SWAT placed third. Sponsored by Original S.W.A.T. Footwear Company, the competition is an invitation-only, international championship designed to test the mental toughness, physical fitness, and weapons skills of the world's top SWAT teams. The competition will appear on Outdoor Life Network later this year.
