OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — An on-duty Baltimore officer has been critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 795 in Owings Mills.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi (goog-lee-EL-mee) says the officer was traveling to a training exercise in the rain when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a jersey wall about 8 a.m. Monday.
The officer was taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where he was in critical condition.
His identity has not been released.
