Canadian Constable Slain at Domestic Violence Call

KUUJJUAQ, Quebec -- Constable Steve Dery was shot and killed after he and another constable responded to a domestic violence call in Kuujjuaq, Quebec, at about 9:30 p.m.

The male subject opened fire on both constables as they exited their patrol car, fatally wounding Constable Dery and wounding the other constable. The man then barricaded himself inside of the home and remains at large.
