K-9 Trooper Retires from Michigan State Police

Born in Hungary, the purebred German shepherd has served as a K-9 trooper with the MSP since January 2005

Oak Park, Mich. — After a career of sniffing out bombs, tracking down bad guys and protecting presidents, Striker is retiring after seven years (49 years in doggie time) of service with the Michigan State Police.

Born in Hungary, the purebred German shepherd has served as a K-9 trooper with the MSP since January 2005.
