Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, held a 6K run/walk on May 9 to honor the National Police Officer National Memorial. According to the organizers, “the event was held to remember fallen police officers, military and civilian.”
The race was won by Staff Sgt. Roderick Reeves, automations noncommissioned officer, 3rd Signal Company, Division Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, and Sgt. Krystal Morgan, training NCO for 317th Military Police Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade.
