When Buck Knives found fishermen were looking for a knife for solid, general use to go along with their Silver Creek fillet knives, they came up the new Model 222 Silver Creek Versa for 2011.

Kept safely open and closed with Buck's handy mid-lock action, the 4” drop-point blade is made of Buck's reliable 420HC stainless steel, titanium-coated for added performance. And the blade is partially serrated for those tougher cutting jobs such as rope, thin branches and heavy-gauge fishing line.

The blue handle, contoured and ridged, is made of glass-reinforced polypropylene with TPE rubber and has a stainless steel guard to ensure a safe, sure grip even in extremely wet conditions. Overall length, when locked open, is 8-3/4” and it folds closed to 4-3/4”. It  weighs just 4.3 oz. and comes in a heavy-duty nylon sheath for convenient carry.

Actually, Buck’s 222 Silver Creek Versa is not just a knife for fisherman. It’s a great all-purpose knife, whether at a camp site or around home. Backed by Buck's respected Forever Warranty, it has an MSRP of $40.
