Coatesville, PA (OfficerStore.com) April 16, 2012 - OfficerStore.com recently expanded their line of Danner boots to meet the unique demands members of the law enforcement and military communities place on their footwear. Beyond the introduction of the new Melee boots there are several additions to the Kinetic and Striker II lines. Danner continues to deliver boots with flexibility, athletic performance, comfort, dryness and are lightweight – they are as prepared to answer the call as you are.

Engineered specifically for close quarter tactics, the Melee Uniform and Hot Military boots feature lightweight, flexible, athletic performance for quick offensive operations. The Melee upper is a durable 1000 Denier nylon with a breathable, moisture-wicking mesh lining. Danner’s unique Melee outsole is constructed with a 360˚ pentagonal low lug pattern for grip in all directions and a rugged outer lug pattern that disperses water and provides maximum surface contact. The EVA midsole provides shock absorption and has an ESS external coating for abrasion resistance. The Melee also features Danner’s patent pending VIA technology which provides a V-4 abrasion rubber compound in the medial side arch for fast roping control.

OfficerStore.com offers the Danner Melee Uniform boots in Canteen while the Hot Military Melee boots are available in tan.

Kinetic Uniform Boots are lightweight, fast, incredibly agile, responsive and ready for anything. The Kinetic outsole is a multidirectional low lug outsole that provides superior surface contact and traction, making them the perfect sole when sudden acceleration is needed. The Ultralon footbed delivers the ultimate step-in and all-day support and comfort while the PU midsole provide long lasting cushion and support. Ballistic rip stop nylon provides abrasion resistance and the durable full-grain leather can be easily polished and is preferred due to the durability and ability to be cleaned quickly. The waterproof models incorporate a 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner that is engineered to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

The Striker II GTX Side Zip boots offer superior Danner durability without the weight. They feature 1000 Denier nylon upper material that is extremely resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs, as well as improved breathability, and quick drying. In addition, the rich, full-grain leather can be cleaned quickly and easily polished. A GORE-TEX liner is engineered to keep your feet dry and comfortable - even in extreme conditions. The TERRA FORCE X Lite performance platform provides lightweight, durable traction, heel-to-toe energy transfer, side support to enhance maneuverability, and protection from arch overwork and fatigue. The Danner TFX Lite outsole is an oil- and slip-resistant outsole that gives you grip, traction and stability without the weight. The non-metallic construction won’t set off metal-based security systems. And of course the convenient side zippers allow for easy entry and exit.
