FEATURED IN PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENTS
May 2012 - Rock River Arms, Inc., an industry leader notorious for producing a full line of high-quality AR15-style rifles as well as their new 1911, announces their support of the Armed Citizen Alliance (ACA) by becoming a sponsor member.
The ACA is a recently founded, non-profit entity that offers a way for average citizens to practice, train and become familiar with personal and home defense firearms in a safe and controlled, recreational environment that imitates real-life circumstances.
Chuck Larson, Co-Owner of Rock River Arms states, “We are a huge supporter of any organization willing to offer an opportunity to the average firearms owner such as this. We support our 2nd Amendment Rights and agree that we can all make a safer country by being responsible citizens.”
As an ACA Sponsor Member, Rock River Arms will be a Stage Sponsor for the National Armed Citizen Challenge (NAC 2), which is a “sports fair” for the armed citizen. The NAC2 is the first event of its kind that will host vendor displays, demos and hands-on product usage opportunities offered by ACA sponsors, partners and supporting manufacturers such as Rock River Arms.
Mark Larson, Co-Owner of Rock River Arms states, “Having our products available to citizens who are interested in safe firearms handling and protecting their families is a great asset to us.”
About ACA: The Armed Citizen Alliance is a not-for-profit corporation chartered in the State of Illinois. Its primary purpose is to provide a national context for citizen practice and preparedness with concealed carry handguns and other personal defense and home defense firearms, and the production of the annual National Armed Citizen Challenge event (NAC2). It is governed by officers elected by its corporate Board of Directors. An Advisory Council of representatives from the firearms industry, other shooting sports organizations, and law-enforcement officers assists ACA Officers and Directors in making policy. All ACA dues, revenues, sponsor contributions, and event proceeds go entirely to ACA administrative costs and ACA program production costs. ACA has no paid employees. All ACA Officers and Directors are volunteers.
