When first responders arrive at the scene of an accident, they need to be prepared for fast action with the right tools to get the job done promptly and efficiently. An effective answer to that challenge is the new 091 TOPS/Buck CSAR-T Responder from Buck Knives.

This rugged folder has a very heavy-duty blade -- 0.120" thick. It's a 3-1/2" modified tanto blade, made of Buck's time-tested 420HC stainless steel, with a Zirblast® finish, tough enough to use for prying. It's 5-1/4" closed and weighs 7.0 oz. (9.3 oz. carry weight, in its heavy-duty nylon M.O.L.L.E. compatible sheath.) It also has a reversible tip-up clip for optional carry. The handle is textured black G10, which can withstand any type of abuse.

Uses and tools on the Responder go well beyond the great knife blade itself. At the butt-end of the handle there is an integrated glass breaker for tempered glass, and a very efficient seat belt cutter. Both are ready for instant use, with no deployment needed.

Added to that is a hex bit-compatible handle cut-out, and there's an available hex tool set (not Buck's and it's an option) to match. With that, you have it all. MSRP, $140.
