SAN DIEGO, CA (October 17, 2011) – TriTech Software Systems is pleased to announce that Rotation Provider, a module within its VisiCAD computer-aided dispatch solution, has been selected by Public Safety Communications as a 2011 APCO Hot Product. Public Safety Communications is a monthly publication published by Elsevier Public Safety on behalf of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International. This is the second year in a row that a VisiCAD Module was selected as an APCO HOT Product.

An anonymous team of reviewers examined the products during the APCO Conference in Philadelphia. Based on the reviewers' public safety experience and comments, the editors selected 25 products as the 2011 Hot Products. In 2010, VisiCAD’s Advisor module was selected as an APCO Hot Product.
Through Rotation Provider, VisiCAD provides the ability to track and request resources/services not directly associated with your agency and that are used on a rotational basis, such a towing services, ambulance transport, locksmith, etc. VisiCAD’s Rotation Provider features flexibility in set up of providers and rotation order, defining service areas and request for services. The Rotation Provider module simplifies the automation, tracking and rotation of services through VisiCAD to increase coordination and efficiency between Dispatch, designated public safety agencies and local support services involved in a single incident.
