The public review and comment period is open until July 12 for the Candidate APCO ANS 1.101.2-201x: Standard for Public Safety Telecommunicators when Responding to Calls of Missing, Abducted, and Sexually Exploited Children. This is a recent update to the original ANS, version 1.

The candidate APCO/NENA ANS 1.102.2-201x: Service Capability Criteria Rating Scale has been released for comments until July 19. The revision includes the addition of “Day-to-Day” operations service capability criteria items, provides updates to the existing “Survivability” items, based upon lessons learned in the field since the original publication.

A revised Candidate APCO ANS 3.103.1-200x: Minimum Training Standards for Public Safety Telecommunicators is in its second public review and comment period ending July 26. The updated proposal includes the addition of Chapter 10: Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Dispatcher, as well as revisions resulting from comments received during the first public review and comment period.
