(AP) ALBANY, N.Y. - A man is in custody after authorities say he exchanged gunfire with a police officer on an Albany street.
Police say an officer on patrol heard shots fired around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday and went to investigate. The officer spotted a man and a foot chase ensued. Police say the man and the officer exchanged gunfire before the man was apprehended.
No one was reported injured.
The names of the man and the officer haven't been released.
No other information was immediately available Thursday morning.
