Event Desc: TORC is designed to bridge-the-gap between inception of injury and definitive treatment. Designed for field operations commonly encountered during law enforcement operations. How to conduct injury assessments and wound sweeps. How to stop traumatic bleeding using various techniques including tourniquets, hemostatic agents, and pressure bandages. How to treat wounds, pneumothorax, and manage hemodynamic instability. Conduct rescue techniques and operations during tactical engagements. Force-on-force scenarios. TORC is a demanding course and participants should be in good health. Training includes use of force-on-force projectiles, including Simunitions and Ultimate Training Munitions.
