The National Tactical Officer’s Association (NTOA) has completed its review and testing of the ATN NVM-14-3P Night Vision Monocular, and it received an overall score of 4.51 out of a possible 5 in their Member Tested and Recommended Program ratings. The NVM-14-3P is a multi-purpose night vision monocular, which features advanced, third-generation technology using ITT Pinnacle Image Intensifier Tube for a clear, crisp image in the darkest of conditions. It’s compatible with most IR laser aiming/illuminating devices and can be used with a camera for nighttime photography. Equipped with ATN’s Total Darkness Technology, the ATN NVM-14-3P has a built-in infrared light-emitting source.

US Night Vision Corporation’s USNV-AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular uses a U.S. manufactured auto-gated image intensifier tube in a compact, high-performance, mil-spec housing designed for multiple applications. It features automatic brightness control, a built-in IR illuminator and manual gain control, which allows the user to increase or decrease image tube brightness for greater image contrast in varying light conditions. The system can be hand-held, weapons mounted, camera/camcorder adaptable or head/helmet mounted for a hands-free application.
