The nature of our work is dangerous. Although there are some things we have no control over, we at Law Officer believe we can get law enforcement deaths below 100 annually, something that hasn’t been done since 1944. It begins with you doing simple things, such as wearing your body armor and using other personal protection products that can help keep you safe.
U.S. Armor’s Enforcer XP is the technologically advanced product of the new ballistic and physical demands of the NIJ 0101.06 standard. One of the key improvements is the ability of the material to reduce backface deformation by approximately 15% when compared to other ballistic materials. The vest is thinner and lighter, and incorporates a new, multi-directional neoprene strap system for improved wearability.

Safariland’s Hatch Model SOG-HKG Operator HKG Gauntlet glove features a longer length to protect the wrist and forearm in tactical applications and close-quarters combat. The gloves are constructed of durable goatskin in the palms and knuckles for superior abrasion and tear resistance. They feature a hard-knuckle design for protection and sound buffering for a more tactical posture. The Operator SOG-HKG backs are constructed of a Kevlar/Nomex blend that provides fire resistance and wicks moisture and perspiration away. For shooting, the patented Cut-Ring on the index finger allows for the optional removal of the trigger finger without unraveling the remaining edge. The Operator SOG-HKG is offered in three colors—black, foliage and coyote tan.

Point Blank Body Armor’s Dragon Fire Tactical Vest was adapted from military specifications. Shock-absorbing straps significantly improve weight distribution and load-bearing support. An internal plate retention system improves the weight distribution and creates a better center of gravity. The vest includes an ergonomically designed self- suspending ballistic system that keeps ballistic panels in place. Multiple sizing points in the shoulders and waist allow you to fine tune the fit of the vest. Throat protection is specially contoured for better fit and improved ballistic coverage. Enhanced side protection offers up to 4 inches of waist adjustability and ballistic coverage. Hidden, dual “kangaroo” pockets are capable of securing AR-15, M16 or similar magazines.

Baker Ballistics’ PatrolBat defeats multiple impacts from most handgun, shotgun and pistol caliber sub-machinegun threats. It allows the primary user the ability to have both hands on standard law enforcement weaponry. It also offers easy transition between handguns and long guns, and gives officers the ability to safely reload while positioned behind armor protection. It’s sized for single-person protection, and features a compact and foldable design as well as two-position hand support strap behind high-impact ShokPad foam protection. A Bungee Lanyard and Hand Support System carries weight, enhances balance and eliminates any tendency to rotate.
