Christine Thompson, Bob Spieldenner, Greg Licamele and Barb Putney participated in a panel discussion of using social media during major disasters. The event was streamed live and they took questions from the viewing audience.

Winner of the Social Media Incident Management Award was the Queensland Police Service of Australia. They were unable to join the conference in person, but Kym Charlton, Executive Director, accepted remotely.
