Dynamic Instruments, Inc. was founded in 1984 by a group of senior executives formerly associated with Spectral Dynamics, Inc. and Scientific Atlanta. With their business background and expertise in Digital Signal Processing and Rotating Machinery Monitoring, they were able to develop the company into a leading manufacture of industrial and military voice recording and instrumentation products. Through the 80's and early 90's the company grew its industrial process control business (Hardy Instruments, Inc.) and military vibration analysis instrumentation segment through innovative technical development and customer application knowledge. This provided the company with the ability to win several significant contracts with the U.S. Navy and Postal service. In 1991, Dynamic Instruments acquired a company manufacturing ruggedized communications recorders primarily for military applications. Dynamic Instruments expanded this product line developing digital recording and audio switching equipment for both the commercial and military markets. Today the company continues to provide its customers with a growing compliment of high quality state-of-the art solutions to their audio recording, vibration monitoring and process control requirement.
