The BAT Mobile (breath/blood alcohol testing) is designed to be used by law enforcement at roadside sobriety checkpoints or other substance abuse testing sites. Brown Specialty Vehicles has built a new mobile crime scene laboratory for its local police department—the first lab of its kind in the department’s fleet. The new Forensics Investigations Vehicle allows police to perform CSI functions in the field that are normally done in a laboratory. The vehicle is equipped with audio and visual warning systems, an emergency response system console and two additional tripod lights to allow responders to find evidence in dim-light situations. Lenco Armored Vehicles’ BearCat EOD combines the life-saving protection of a BearCat with the functionality of a bomb disposal vehicle.
