MetaMAP, Inc. was established in 1992 for the purpose of marketing, developing, and supporting MetaMAP Geographic Information System (GIS) software products. The company is based in Lexington, Kentucky. MetaMAP has GIS/AM/FM software products ranging in price from $95 to $3,995 for single user licenses. Although MetaMAP runs in the Windows 9.x/Windows NT environments, it is often integrated with data and applications on other platforms. This makes MetaMAP uniquely appropriate for anything from a single-user mapping system to a complex interstate, multi-platform WAN, integrating databases with other formats.
