Vigilant Video was spun from extensive expertise of the demanding semi-conductor and GIS industries where its core roots were grown with imaging analysis algorthms. The race in the 1990's to produce advanced imaging systems to support the microchip industry resulted in founder Shawn Smith joining Tran Ba Hoang in developing a world class R&D team. This powerful development team now has its sights set on providing the most advanced video security algorithms to the US marketplace.
