Law Officer Volume 4 Issue 1 Law enforcement trainers serve a critical role in public safety. The challenges confronting today s officers are unprecedented and only through quality training can we provide officers the skills they need to be both effective and safe. A trainer s ability, commitment and leadership greatly impact officers in the field, yet this vital role is often overlooked within individual police departments and policing as a whole.
