KOB Albuquerque, NM - 9-1-1 tapes from an Albuquerque police shooting. APD released the tape to us about an hour and a half ago. the 9-1-1 call came from a transit security guard-- who was following the 19- year-old suspect and trying to keep pedestrians back. officers shot the man-- nearly two weeks ago-- at the corner of second and central. police say he was armed with a knife and charged at officers-- minute thumbnail 12:33 pm before he was shot twice. police say the suspect may have just been released from a mental facility before the shooting. it was the eleventh police shooting of the year-- by APD.
