Denver Officer Killed While Breaking Up Fight

Slain officer was member of police association and a single mother.

DENVER (KDVR) – The investigation continued early Monday into a shooting at City Park that killed a veteran Denver police officer. The single mother and board member of a prestigious police officers’ association was shot and killed trying to break up an altercation toward the end of the Jazz in the Park concert just after 8 p.m. Sunday.
