Eugene (Ore.) Police Allow Public to Borrow Radar Guns

Program allows community to track speeders in their neighborhoods

KMTR NBC 16 (Eugene, Ore.)-- The Eugene police department is helping the community be proactive in keeping their neighborhoods safer. After being trained, volunteers work in teams and monitor traffic on neighborhood streets. With the recording of speed violaters, warnings are then sent out to drivers.
