Mice Steal Marijuana from Police

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

WICHITA, Kan. -- Police released a photo of the suspect that took drug evidence from a police storage facility in Kansas. Detectives believe mice chewed through several bags of marijuana that were seized from a drug bust in 2009. Police Lt. Doug Nolte said, "we've got some mice that are stoners." Police believe the rodents were attracted to the smell of the marijuana. Cops thought someone tampered with the evidence bags but after further investigation they realized it was mice. Police say a drawn-out investigation will not be necessary but they did call an exterminator.
