Michigan Officers Face Gunfire

West Bloomfield officer killed while investigating report of shots fired

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich., (WXYZ) - A police officer in West Bloomfield, a suburb in the northwest area of Detroit, has been shot and killed. Officers responded to shots fired at a home on Forest Edge Lane Sunday afternoon in the area of Pontiac Trail and Halsted. When they arrived at the scene they were met with gunfire.
