Police: Newtown Students Excited on First Day Back

Classes resume for Sandy Hook students

MONROE, Conn. (AP) - Classes resumed Thursday for the first time since last month's shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, where a gunman killed 20 first-graders and six educators. Monroe police say "watching them get off the bus, most of the kids were excited." (Jan. 3)
