Propane Fueled Jackson Cruiser Explodes

Tuesday, October 26, 2010

WAGA FOX5 Atlanta - A Jackson County sheriff's deputy had to jump out of his car while it was moving at 50 miles an hour to escape a fire. The police cruiser was fueled partly by propane, an effort by Jackson County to use a cheaper, environmentally friendly alternative fuel. The sheriff said Monday that he believes something went wrong with the propane system.
