SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI, Syndi) -- 49-year-old Sgt. Mark Scianna, of Bexar County (Texas) Constable's Office, died Saturday after his cruiser hit a utility pole, and then caught on fire, ejecting him into the street. A San Antonio fire unit saw the fire ball from a mile away and thought it was a house fire. They were on the scene within a minute. The deputy chief said he wasn't sure if the constable was chasing someone when the crash occurred.
