Use-of-force issues remain among the most contentious in law enforcement. Any use of force by an officer is scrutinized by every critic, and any real or perceived misstep often results in a dismissal of charges, a civil action against the officer and his agency, and injury to the reputation of both. This webcast will explain and explore life’s most important question,  What’s Important Now (W.I.N.) , as it relates to use-of-force training.

Brian Willis is an internationally recognized trainer and speaker. He draws on his 25 years of law enforcement experience as a member of the Calgary Police Service and more than 19 years of training experience to provide cutting-edge training to law enforcement officers and trainers throughout North America. Brian has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his contributions to officer safety training in Canada. Brian operates Winning Mind Training and Warrior Spirit Books and is the editor of the highly acclaimed books W.I.N.: Critical Issues in Training and Leading Warriors and W.I.N. 2 Insights Into Training and Leading Warriors . Brian serves as an Advisory Board member for ILEETA, is the editor of the ILEETA Review and writes a regular column for the ILEETA Use of Force Journal . Brian served as a member of the National Advisory Board for Police Marksman Magazine from 2000 to 2007.
